Merit Scholarship

Benefit
The scholarship serves as a financial award given to students based on their academic achievements. Instead of focusing on and rewarding to only A scores, our Merit Scholarship provides equal and fair education opportunities by considering your overall holding results.
Requirement
1. Applicable to Malaysian students holding results from recognized institutions in Malaysia OR;
2. Applicable to Malaysian students holding results from recognized overseas institutions for selected qualifications (e.g.: UEC/IGCSE/O Level)
3. Application of the scholarship is based on actual examination result. Trial/Forecast examination results are NOT acceptable.
4. Merit Discounts is distributed equally over 7 semesters of studies.
5. Scholarship recipients must achieve and maintain a minimum academic performance (GPA 2.67) to remain eligible, with the scholarship being refrained if this standard is not met for two consecutive semesters.
6. Minimum 80 Merit Points

ViTrox Scholarship

Benefit
The scholarship, supported and sponsored by ViTrox Foundation, serves as a financial aid for the underprivileged (low-income financial standing, handicapped/ differently abled, rural areas, etc).
Requirement
1. Applicant has to be a Malaysian student.
2. Household income, not more than RM 5,000 per month (equivalent to RM 60,000 annualized, parents’ 2 years tax return/ BE Form must be attached*).
3. Applicants with achievements or participation in extracurricular activities, and OKU individuals are encouraged to apply and will be given priority.
4. Recipients of ViTrox Scholarship will be required to serve an employment bond with ViTrox Group of Companies, upon successful completion of the undergraduate programme.

All shortlisted candidates will need to go through an interview.

88 CAPTAINS is a charitable organisation formed with the objective of sustaining talent development in Penang. Among its main activities are efforts to provide scholarships to fund students pursuing higher education in Penang, nurturing young talents, sustaining and retaining talents to meet the ever-growing needs of the industries located in Penang.
Requirement
1. Belong to a B40 family background
2. Have a minimum of 5As in SPM / Diploma results with a CGPA ≥ 3.0
3. Have completed all academic results in one sitting
4. Maintain a CGPA of ≥ 3.00 each semester without disciplinary action by ViTrox College
