Trinity College Foundation Studies is the only guaranteed entry pathway into Australia's No. 1* University, The University of Melbourne. Trinity College is located within the grounds of The University of Melbourne and is academically supervised by The University of Melbourne. Students who study at Trinity College are well-prepared for university success in both academic and non-academic aspects.
Students will study 5 subjects at Trinity College Foundation Studies. There are 3 elective subjects and 2 core curriculum subjects. The core curriculum subjects include English (which comprises Drama, English Literature and English for Academic Purposes) and History of Ideas. These core curriculum subjects prepare students for important skills necessary for success at university, including academic writing skills, public speaking and presentation skills, and critical thinking skills.
Trinity College is an on-campus program taught in Melbourne, Australia. We do not offer online courses or offshore study. Students will be able to integrate with students from The University of Melbourne in clubs and societies, and will be able to experience the university campus during their foundation year.
There are an extensive range of support services available to students, including mentoring programs, academic advisors, small tutorial class sizes, 1:1 consultations with teachers, counsellors at Trinity College and more! The Student Experience Team will also host social events and activities for students to get involved.
