Introduction

Sunway University provides an extensive range of Bachelor (Honours) Degrees, including Accounting and Finance, Business Management, Entrepreneurship, Marketing, Communication, International Supply Chain Management, Computer Science, Software Engineering, Computer Networking and Security Information, Information Technology, Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electronic and Electrical Engineering, Psychology, Medical Biotechnology, Medical Biomedicine, and more. These programmes are accredited by the prestigious Lancaster University in the UK, allowing graduates to receive two certificates upon completion.

The Diploma in Culinary Arts, Diploma in Hotel Management and Bachelor of Science (Hons) in Culinary Management are also accredited by the Le Cordon Bleu Institute of Culinary Arts.

Sunway University also offers programmes in Actuarial Science, Financial Analysis, Financial Economics, Event Management, Contemporary Music and Audio Technology, Nursing, Graphic and Multimedia Design, Music Performance, Interior Design, Performing Arts, and more, attracting students with diverse aspirations. Benefit

Awarded to enrolling freshmen in recognition of their excellent academic achievements prior to admission into a new programme in Sunway University/ Sunway College. Scholarship quantum will be deducted from the tuition fee of participating programmes below:
• Pre-University Programmes
• Diploma Programmes
• American Degree Transfer Program (ADTP)
• Degree Programmes
• Professional Accounting Programmes

Requirement

1. The scholarship is offered strictly to full time registered students of Sunway College/ Sunway University upon settlement of the first semester fees. It is mandatory that the recipient completes the entire duration of the course
2. Full-time registered students of Sunway College/Sunway University must apply for the scholarship with official true copy document(s) of SPM/ STPM/ Diploma/ Foundation/Pre-University/ Matriculation certificate or equivalent
3. Application to be submitted Two (2) weeks after commencement of programmes OR two (2) weeks after the release of actual results

The Chansellors Scholarship of Sunway University and Lancaster University

Benefit

1. Full tuition fee deduction
2. It also includes a three (3) weeks study visit to Lancaster University any time after Year 1 *
3. Costs covered by Sunway University and Lancaster University for the study visit are:
i. Return air-fare (economy class) from Kuala Lumpur to Lancaster
ii. Accommodation at Lancaster University

* A suitable substitute will be arranged in case of any unexpected circumstances

1. Candidates must demonstrate consistent track record of leadership roles in extracurricular activities at school or community level. This might include positions in student clubs, volunteer organizations, or other leadership experiences.
2. Candidates should possess good communication skills, self-confidence and thrive on challenges

3. Only selected sports are eligible for the Sunway Sports Scholarship, such as archery, track & field, badminton, basketball, tenpin bowling, international chess, table tennis, taekwondo (WT), tennis, squash and swimming

Note: If an applicant’s chosen sport is not part of the list of sports for the Sunway Sports Scholarship, it will then fall under the discretion of the Sunway University/Sunway College Scholarship Committee to accept the application and/or to grant an interview
