Introduction

Quest International University Perak (QIU) (DU021(A)) is a private and comprehensive research-led university established under the Higher Educational Institutions Act 555 and owned by Global Integrated Training Associates Sdn Bhd (formerly known as Blair Education Services Sdn. Bhd) in the State of Perak, Malaysia on 12th June 2008 in which the State Government of Perak has equity participation along with the QI Group. At QIU, we believe that planting the seeds of curiosity in students from the beginning will inspire them to make ‘knowledge-seeking’ their quest in life.

As a private comprehensive university, students are our top priority. To engage the students and instill in them the hunger for knowledge, we believe in blending theory and practice in education.

We ensure that our programmes are industry-relevant using motivational teaching methods which are highly effective. QIU graduates will emerge from the University as florets leaving the plant, ready for the job market and will continue their quest to seek and learn.

At QIU, we focus not just on academics but also on instilling students with the “green” concept, where love for the environment and the community is nurtured amongst them. All QIU graduates will grow to become well-rounded citizens with an excellent education and a caring heart not just for other fellow humans but for the environment and Earth as well.

Benefit
Specifically for SPM, Certificate and Diploma-graduate students to further studies at Diploma or First Degree levels in the field and institution within the country set by MARA.
Requirement
• The applicant and one of the parents are a citizen and of Bumiputera status.
• Parents/ Guardians as well as students are NOT blacklisted by MARA.
• Applicants do not receive financial/ sponsorship assistance from any agency for the same education level (double sponsor).
• The courses enrolled in are courses recognized by the Malaysian Government and the Professional Body of Malaysia.
• Has never been terminated by any sponsor for disciplinary action that is unlawful and has no criminal record.
• Free from chronic illnesses / infectious diseases / diseases that require follow-up treatment and are able to study until completion.

To provide higher education loan facilities to Malaysian citizens, especially Perak children who are qualified to continue their studies at sponsored Higher Education Institution (HEI)
Requirement
• The applicant and mother or father were born in the State of Perak.
• Applicants and their parents who were born in the State of Perak but whose address is outside the State of Perak have been resident in the State of Perak for more than 10 years.
• Applicants and parents who were born outside the State of Perak have been resident in the State of Perak for more than 10 years.
