Requirement
Foundation programme:
- SPM: 8As and above (including A-, A and A+)
- GCSE/IGCSE: 7As and above

Undergraduate programme:
- A-Level: 3A's, excluding General Studies
- IB: 36 points and above (6, 6, 6 at Higher level)
- STPM: 3A's, excluding General Studies (A-minus will not be considered as equivalent to an A)
- UEC: 5A's, excluding Malay language and Chinese language

Specific criteria:
- Chemical Engineering:
To include Mathematics & Physics/Chemistry as part of the General Criteria.

- Civil, Electrical and Electronic, Mechatronic, Mechanical Engineering:
To include Mathematics & Physics as part of the General Criteria.

- Mathematical Sciences:
To include mathematics as part of the General Criteria.

- School of Biosciences/Division of Biomedical Sciences:
To include Chemistry or Biology as part of the General Criteria.

- School of Computer Science:
To include Mathematics as part of the General Criteria.

- School of Pharmacy:
- BSc in Pharmaceutical and Health Sciences: to include Chemistry or Biology as part of the General Criteria.
- MPharm Pharmacy: to include Chemistry as part of the General Criteria. (Only applies to the portion of studies in Malaysia)

- Faculty of Arts and Social Sciences
Non-academic subjects or General studies will not be considered
Apply
Students must submit their application before application deadlines. The scholarship is automatically applied to all academically-qualified students who are applying for entry into foundation and undergraduate programmes.

Dean's Excellence Scholarships

- A fee reduction of 25% awarded to top achieving students (at the point of progression for each academic year) ie: Foundation to year 1; year 1 to year 2; year 2 to year 3 to year 4 (Engineering course only)
Requirement
1. Top-achieving students in each foundation programmes, profession into undergraduate year 1.
2. Top-achieving students in each school/department in the current year, progressing into the upcoming academic year.
Apply
The scholarship is available on an automatic basis to all qualifying students. Students who entered the University without a High achievers' Scholarship may be eligible for the Dean's Excellence Scholarship when they perform outstandingly on the programme they have undertaken.

Requirement
1. Alumni Scholarship

1.1) Alumni who register at the University on full-time award bearing programmes, switching from one degree to another, progressing from Bachelors to Masters or Masters to PhD (Mphil to PhD excluded) are entitled to the following scholarships.
1.2) Register for masters degrees and receive a 10% tuition fee scholarship.
1.3) Register for PhD programmes and receive a 10% tuition fee scholarship for every year of the PhD programme (subject to satisfactory progress)
1.4) Alumni scholarships are automatic on evidence of previous successfully completed study at the University of Nottingham.

2. Family Scholarships

2.1) Children of alumni
- Children of alumni who register full-time at the University for an award bearing programme are entitled to a scholarship of 10% of the first year's tuition fee.

2.2) Sibling Scholarship
- Where siblings register full-time on award-bearing programmes at the University, each second and subsequent sibling is entitled to a scholarship of 10% of the first year's tuition fee. The siblings need not be studying on programmes at the University at the same time by may have registered some years apart.

2.3) Spouse Scholarship
- Spouses who register full-time at the University for award-bearing courses are entitled to a scholarship of 10% of the first year's tuition fee for one of the spouses.

2.4) Alumni of Universitas 21 (U21) institutions Scholarship
- Alumni of Universitas 21 (U21) institutions who register at the University as full-time students on award-bearing programmes are entitled to a scholarship of 10% of their first year's tuition fees.
Apply
- Alumni scholarships are automatic on evidence of previous successfully completed study at the University of Nottingham.

- Sibling scholarship is automatically provided on evidence of the sibling relationship and each sibling being register on full-time award-bearing programmes.

- Spouse scholarship is automatic on evidence of the spouse relationship and both spouses being registered on full-time award-bearing programmes. It is not necessary for both spouses to be studying at the same time to gain this scholarship.

- Alumni scholarship is automatic once an application form has been completed and satisfactory evidence is provided.

Sports and Arts Scholarship

Sports Scholarship:
One award per year and will be for the whole duration of their registered undergraduate studies programme as long as the requirements of the scholarship are met and maintained. Open to all undergraduate students.

Arts Scholarships:
One award per year and will be for the whole duration of their registered undergraduate programme as long as the requirements of the scholarship are met and maintained. Open to all undergraduate students.

The National Scholarship:
Will be awarded to students who have a proven record of competing in national level competitions. The scholarship takes the form of a 50% reduction in tuition fees.

The International Scholarship:
Will be awarded to students who have a proven record of representing their country. The scholarship takes the form of a 75% reduction in tuition fees.
Requirement
1. Obtained an unconditional offer letter from the University (including current foundation students who will be progressing to undergraduate studies).
2. Complete the application form.
3. Submit a statement detailing their achievements
4. Evidence of their sports/arts achievements
5. Evidence of family financial background

When making the selection, the committee will take into account, not only the achievements but also the commitment of the application in promoting their area of involvement to the wider community. The decision of the committee is final.

Arts and Social Sciences Excellence Award

The Faculty of Arts and Social Sciences recognises academic excellence through its Arts and Social Sciences Excellence Award. All PGT students, excluding MBA and MA Educational Leadership and Management (Malaysian/non-Malaysian) applying to pursue either a full/part-time Master programme, are eligible for a 25% fee reduction.
Requirement
- Fulfil all admission requirements
- Possess a strong upper second class honours degree (with an average of at least 68 under the British Grading Scheme, or a 3.4/4 US CGPA equivalent).

Arts and Social Sciences Excellence Award

- Other qualifications will be considered on a case-by-case basis

Future Leaders Award

Requirement
- Fulfil all admission requirements
- Possess an upper second class honours degree or equivalent
- Have at least 5 years of relevant working experience (must be reflected in the personal statement)
- Applicants with RPL (Recognition of Prior Learning) are not eligible for this award
