National Chiayi University is a comprehensive university that was successfully created when the National Chiayi Institute of Technology merged with National Chiayi Teachers College in 2000. Currently, the school has 7 colleges and 39 departments and has also developed student-centered industry-academy collaboration courses, with a focus on applying theories in practice and training fine talents.
The school has established sisterhood with major universities in the United States, Japan, France, Germany, and Southeast Asian countries to carry out student exchange, joint degree programs, talent training programs, and other international exchanges and cooperation. It is an excellent institution that has gained a foothold in Taiwan with a global view.
The school heads the list of teaching resources distributed to every student. More than 90% of its teachers are full-time teachers with a doctoral degree. The school has an excellent learning environment and also boasts qualified teachers who keep pace with teaching and research.
