RM5,000 tuition fee waiver per semester, subject to maintaining satisfactory academic progress.

4. For current student of Monash University Malaysia you must meet the following criteria to stand a chance for nomination:
- current student who have completed 2 semesters of study with 48 credit points.
- Have achieved average score of 80% and above from the 8 units completed.
- Fall within the top 1% of the school population.

Scholarship

Scholarship

Bursary for 1-year program MAppE (8 units only)
1. A one-off RM8,000 tuition fee waiver upon successful enrolment in MAppE to be offered at RM 4,000 for each

A one-off RM 10,000 tuition fee waiver to be offered at RM 5,000 for each semester - for members of the Institution of Engineers or other Engineering professional bodies (BEM,IChemE, IMechE, IET) as recognised by the School of Engineering, an employee of MUM’s industry partners, or enrolling in a group of three or more from a same organisation.

Bursary for 2 years MAppE program
1. A RM2,500 tuition fee waiver per unit upon successful enrolment in MAppE pre-requisite program; AND
2. A one-off RM8,000 tuition fee waiver upon successful enrolment in the second year of MAppE to be offered at RM4,000 for each semester.

Scholarship

Each scholarship comes with a full tuition fee waiver and monthly stipend of MYR2,800 as follows:
1. Research master’s degree - Two years full-time equivalent from the date of course commencement.

5. The award of scholarships are based on an applicant’s academic record, research output and/or prior research experience.
6. Applicants must not have completed a graduate research masters or doctoral degree at the same course level (for example, are applying to undertake a second doctoral degree).
7. Applicants who receive a scholarship/financial assistance from an external sponsor(s) must obtain prior approval from the Scholarship office. The Scholarship office will confirm that there are no contradictory conditions from the sponsors. Consent from both MUM and sponsor(s) is required.

Scholarship

Scholarship

Each scholarship comes with the following for up to three years and three months full-time equivalent from the date of course commencement until the scholarship end date or upon thesis submission; whichever is earlier:
1. 100% tuition fee waiver; and
2. Monthly stipend of RM3,640

1. Applications are open in April and December, every year. Successful applicants must submit formal application for PhD before March or July of the academic year.
2. The applicant must meet the entry requirements for PhD studies, and meet the eligibility for the Campus Graduate Research Excellence Scholarship, which includes H1/H1E from their Bachelor degree.
3. In addition, the applicant must also possess a Master degree (by coursework or research) in a relevant discipline (engineering, computer science or information technology), and be able to obtain a Teaching Permit from the Ministry of Higher Education.
4. The application is open to Malaysians only.
5. The main supervisor for the PhD study must be first engaged before submitting an application.
6. Prior experience in teaching is not mandatory but an advantage.

Scholarship

Only new female students enrolling into Monash University Malaysia.
Must have completed an Australian Year 12 qualification or an international senior secondary qualification accepted by the University with an outstanding Australian Tertiary Admission Rank (ATAR) or equivalent, as determined by Monash University Malaysia.

Scholarship

Each scholarship covers 100% or partial of the tuition fees for the duration of the course.

Applicants with a distinction average in a prior study from a recognized university and meet all other entry requirements are eligible to apply for the Scholarships. Selection of the scholarship will be based on academic achievement for each discipline as determined by Monash University Malaysia.

Interested candidates must apply to the Education Management Office, Monash University Malaysia. All applications consistent with the eligibility and selection criteria will be considered for a scholarship.

A one-off RM1,000 tuition fee waiver.

Have received a full offer for enrolment into the 10-week Monash English Bridging program

An application for Admission to the University will constitute an application for the scholarship. All applications for admission consistent with the eligibility and selection criteria will be considered automatically for the scholarship. All successful candidates will be offered the scholarship along with the Offer of Admission to Monash University Malaysia.
