Introduction

MIB College is the very first baking college in Malaysia. When you attend MIB, you become part of an established institute with a rich background, stretching over 40 years, beginning with our roots in 1977, in Petaling Jaya, Selangor.

As educators, our priority is you, and we strive to help you realise your potential, your passion, and ultimately turning that into a love for your work. Our education is a holistic experience – one which can transform you from an eager student into a versatile, compassionate leader. You’ll have professional skills, science and business knowledge, and values – vital components of a good character, enabling you to be at the forefront of your industry.

Our courses have been approved by the Ministry of Higher Education (MOHE) and accredited by the Malaysian Qualifications Agency (MQA), therefore maintaining a high, qualified standard of teaching. The benefits of an MQA certified course include eligibility to apply for financial aid from PTPTN loan and EPF.

MIB offers two main Diploma programmes, ie. Diploma in Baking Science and Technology (BST) and Diploma in Culinary Arts. Both courses are MQA and MOHE accredited. The International Diploma in Baking Arts is a fast track program for students who have less than three credits.

When you study at MIB College, we make sure that these foundations are built in you: (i) practical baking Skills, (ii) theory Science in Baking, and (iii) understanding Business & Management in the Food Industry
