Konkuk University (KU) was founded in 1931 and since that time has become a significant force in Korean and global higher education. All our programs are fully accredited by the Korean Ministry of Education and other external organizations such as the Accreditation Board for Engineering in Korea (ABEEK). Our Business School is fully accredited by the Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business (AACSB). Enrolling about, 30,000 students, at two campus locations, in Seoul’s vibrant Gangnam District, and Chungju’s pristine rural environment, KU, conducts, a comprehensive range of educational and research activities. As a globally engaged university, we educate, 2,500 international students across abroad range of disciplines, in undergraduate, graduate, and post-doctorate programs. To accommodate our Konkuk Global Exchange Network (K-GEN) spanning 67 countries, we provide English-taught programs that vary in length including shorter-term summer programs. The K-GEN is strategically integrated across all disciplinary research and educational activities.
