DILA, with the core values of "spiritual environmental protection," offers a Graduate School of Humanities and Social Science and a Department of Buddhist Studies. The Department of Buddhist Studies was established in 2007 and offers a complete academic program, including bachelor's, master's, and doctoral degrees. The Department has recruited over 20 part-time and full-time professors with expertise in Buddhist studies from well-known universities domestically and internationally, providing comprehensive and in-depth courses on Buddhist research and practice. Building upon over 30 years of experience in Buddhist studies at Dharma Drum Institute of Liberal Arts, the Department is renowned as one of the leading Buddhist educational institutions, benefiting from extensive teaching, research, and library resources.
The Graduate School of Humanities and Social Science was established in 2015 and offers two master's degree programs: the "Master's Program in Life Education" and the "Master's Program in Social Enterprise and Innovation."
