Founded in 1996, Dasein Academy of Art proudly celebrates its 30th anniversary this year.

Over the past three decades, Dasein has remained true to its mission of nurturing creativity through education, producing countless outstanding designers, illustrators, animators, and fine artists who are now active across both local and international creative industries.

Located at Millerz Square, Old Klang Road, Dasein’s integrated campus offers students a strategic and convenient location surrounded by shopping malls, eateries, and public transport, providing a vibrant and well-connected environment for study and daily life.

Dasein academy upholds its signature “Edu-Mentoring” philosophy, where every student receives guidance and learns in small classes designed to encourage independent thinking and personal creative growth. This student-centered approach not only enhances the learning experience but has also led Dasein students to achieve numerous awards in major design and art competitions.

In line with its hands-on philosophy, Dasein Academy emphasizes industry collaboration, giving students the opportunity to work on real-world projects with renowned brands such as Starbucks, CelcomDigi, and EXSIM. These collaborations bridge classroom creativity with professional practice and help students build confidence and experience before entering the workforce.

In terms of academic excellence, Dasein’s Graphic Design lecturer was honoured with the title of “Lecturer of the Year” at the 2024 Kancil Awards, one of Malaysia’s most prestigious recognitions in the creative industry. The award celebrates outstanding educators who inspire the next generation of creative talents — a testament not only to the lecturer’s dedication and innovative teaching, but also to Dasein Academy’s strong academic foundation and close ties with the creative industry.

In addition, Dasein Academy continues to offer a wide range of scholarship programs, including full scholarships, academic excellence awards, portfolio-based scholarships, and leadership awards, inspiring young talents to take their first step toward a creative future.
