Introduction

Curtin University Malaysia (Curtin Malaysia) is a globally-focused, locally-engaged institution that takes pride in the broad range and quality of its undergraduate programs in engineering and related sciences, technology, business, communications and social sciences, which gain strength and currency from its strong industry, government and community links. It also offers programs at pre-university and postgraduate level.

Located in Miri, Sarawak, it is the earliest and largest global campus of Curtin University and its hub in ASEAN.

Curtin Malaysia’s students come from over 50 different countries, reflecting its strong commitment to international engagement and becoming a world-class education provider. Staff from over 15 countries further strengthen its international outlook. This cultural diversity adds a rich and valuable dimension to its campus atmosphere, preparing its graduates to live and work effectively in an increasingly global environment.

We offer students the unique opportunity to pursue courses from a celebrated Australian university ranked amongst the world’s top 200 universities.
Our internationally recognised degrees are exactly the same as those awarded in Australia. Students also get an undifferentiated learning experience and have access to Curtin’s student support systems
Tuition fees are most affordable, being in Malaysian Ringgit for the same courses offered in Australia.
Students have the option to transfer to another Curtin campus at any time during their undergraduate studies on student exchange or for short study or to complete their degrees.
We offer flexible pathways to our degrees, including 1-year Foundation programs in Engineering & Science, Commerce and Arts, and 2-year diplomas in related fields.
