The higher educational institutions in Japan come under three systems: the national, public and private systems. They are divided into five categories: graduate schools, universities, junior colleges, colleges of technology and special training colleges. The graduate schools provide post-graduate education in Masters and PhD programmes. The universities provide undergraduate education and the normal Bachelor degree programmes which are of four-year duration while the Bachelor in Medicine degree programmes are of six-year duration (covering also dentistry and veterinary; upon graduation, students can enroll for the four-year PhD post-graduate programmes). The junior colleges, colleges of technology and special training colleges offer specialized university education (two to three years). Educational institutions in Japan use mostly the Japanese language for teaching but a few of them do teach in English. To further their studies in Japan, students need to pass the Japanese-Language Proficiency Test (JLPT) Level 2.
AM Akira Management is a further study organization for Japanese higher education. It provides information on further studies in Japan and assists local students to study in Japan. For many years, it is well-known for its high rate of obtaining visa approvals. Based on the students’ academic results, family conditions, personal health and other related factors, AM Akira Management designs special further study plans to assist local students intending to study in Japan.
AM Akira Management strives to help students to save money and time while reducing worries and inconvenience. With regard to cost, a student needs only around RM30,000 to study in Japan (including tuition fee). In terms of time required, after completing the local language learning, a student can enroll in the university directly or gain entry into year three of a college programme. A student with excellent results can be accepted by a national or public university. As for services, we provide one-stop intermediary services and have set up offices in many places in Japan to alleviate the parents’ worries. For entry requirements, a student can be accepted by a university after passing the Japanese-Language Aptitude Test and interview without prior studies in mathematics and sciences.
Besides, when the new academic year opens in January, April, July and October, Am Akira Management will provide various scholarships such as Japanese News Award Scholarship. Applicants can receive a place at a university and a newspaper delivery job (five-day week, five hours of work per day), a bursary of 85,000 Japanese Yen per month, accommodation in a single room (water and electricity charges to be paid by student), train transport subsidy (maximum of 10,000 Japanese Yen every month) and so on. Students can also take up part-time work while studying in Japan (hourly wage of 800 to 1,500 Japanese Yen) such that they can further their studies and at the same time learn the local language as well as experience the local lifestyles.
AM Akira Management provides students with services in applying to Okayama Institute of Languages and Japan IT Business College so that they have the opportunity to study in Japan after completing the half-year Japanese language course and two-year Japanese IT special course. The Japanese language course at Okayama Institute of Languages allows students to learn the language integration capabilities including listening, speaking, reading and writing (not necessary to have JLPT certificate) and to achieve N3 grade or higher. Japan IT Business College can allow students to gain knowledge related to international business so that they can better understand the development trends in the technology sector. This will give students the employment advantages for jobs such as programmer, web engineer, webpage designer and so on.
