Scholarship for newly admitted students (Implementation Guidelines for CCU Scholarships for Overseas Chinese/ Hong Kong & Macau and International Students)

Benefit
1. Distinguished students recommended by the principal of the overseas high schools or CCU Alumni associations, or departments after the application interviews will be granted a full tuition and fees waiver.
2. Outstanding students recommended by the principal of the overseas high schools or CCU Alumni associations, or departments after the application interviews will be awarded NT$50,000 of scholarship for that academic year. Outstanding students recommended by the principal of the overseas high schools or CCU Alumni associations, or departments after the application interviews and admitted into designated departments will be awarded NT$70,000 of scholarship for that academic year.
3. Scholarship recipients will be granted the right to stay at a standard dormitory room without accommodation fees. For a non-standard room, applicants need to pay for the excess fees.
Apply
Scholarship qualification will be reviewed by the committee formed by the department faculty members and administrators from the Office of Academic Affairs, the Office of International and Mainland China Affairs, and the Center for International Interchange based on CCU’s List of Suggested Grades in Different Regions, the annual budget and recruitment results.

Scholarship for current Overseas Chinese/Hong Kong & Macau students (Implementation Guidelines for CCU Scholarships for Overseas Chinese/ Hong Kong & Macau and International Students)

Benefit
1. Current Overseas Chinese/Hong Kong & Macau students whose average score of the previous semester(s) is over 80 and ranked in top 10% in the class will be awarded a full tuition and fee
2. Current Overseas Chinese/Hong Kong & Macau students whose average score of the previous semester(s) is over 70 and ranked in top 30% in the class will be awarded NT$20,000 for that academic year.
3. Current Overseas Chinese/Hong Kong & Macau students studying in the designated departments will be awarded NT$40,000 if they have an average score of the previous semester(s) is over 60 and ranked in top 45% in the class.
Requirement
Current Overseas Chinese/Hong Kong & Macau students with an excellent academic profile during previous academic year(s) and a score over 80 for Student Conduct are eligible to apply.

Scholarship for current international students (Implementation Guidelines for CCU Scholarships for Overseas Chinese/ Hong Kong & Macau and International Students)

Benefit
1. Current international students whose average score of the previous semester(s) is over 75 and ranked in top 15% in the class will be awarded full tuition and fee waiver.
2. Current international students whose average score of the previous semester(s)is over 65 and ranked in top 35% in the class will be awarded NT$ 20,000.
3. Current international students studying in the designated departments will be awarded NT$ 40,000 if they have an average score of over 60 of the previous semester(s) and ranked in top 50% in the class.
Requirement
Current international students with an excellent academic profile during previous semester(s) and a score over 80 for Student Conduct are eligible to apply.

Application for student grant starts

Benefit
A stipend of NT10,000 (within 1,500 MYR) per student will be awarded.

The printout of the application and transcript must be sent to Fei Hwa Building #204 by the deadline shown on school website announcement.

25-30 person per semester

Hwa Kang Scholarship

Benefit
Students who ranked in the top three of their class in the previous semester are eligible to apply for the Hwa Kang Scholarship.
The first place will be awarded NT$8,000 (within RM 1,100), the second place will be awarded NT$5,000 (within RM 730), and the third place will be awarded NT$2,000 (within RM 300).
Requirement
Students who ranked in the top three of their class in the previous semester are eligible to apply for the Hwa Kang Scholarship.

For application, please log onto the school website (MyCCU), click on the financial assistance and scholarship button and then send out the application form. The printout of the application must be sent to each department office by the deadline shown on school website announcement.
