1. Pass Sijil Pelajaran Malaysia (SPM) or equivalent with minimum 3 credits (3Cs) including a credit in Mathematics; OR
2. Pass Sijil Tinggi Persekolahan Malaysia (STPM) or equivalent with a minimum of Grade C (GP 2.0) in any subjects and a credit in Mathematics at SPM level or its equivalent; OR
3. Pass Unified Examination Certificate (UEC) with minimum 3 credits (3Bs) including a credit in Mathematics; OR
4. Pass Sijil Tinggi Agama Malaysia (STAM) with a minimum grade of Maqbul (Pass) and a credit in Mathematics at SPM level or its equivalent; OR
5. Pass Sijil Kemahiran Malaysia (SKM) (Level 3, MQF) in related field subject; OR
6. Pass in any qualifications equivalent to Certificate (Level 3, MQF) and a credit in Mathematics at SPM level or its equivalent.

Candidates without a credit in Mathematics at SPM level or its equivalent may be admitted if the Certificate programme contains subjects in Mathematics that are equivalent to Mathematics at SPM level.

Candidates with a credit in computing-related subject at SPM level or its equivalent may be given preferential consideration.
