Language, Mata Pelajaran Pengajian Umum (MPU) and Co-curricular Courses:
Bahasa Kebangsaan A, English for Tertiary Studies, Academic English, English for Career Preparation, Tamadun Islam dan Asia, Contemporary Malaysian Issues, Hubungan Etnik, Critical Thinking, *Co-curricular

*Co-Curricular Courses can be taken in any semester of the study

Entry Requirement

(1) STPM - Grade C in 2 relevant subjects
(2) A Level - Grade D in 2 relevant subjects
(3) UEC - Grade B in 5 relevant subjects
(4) TAR UMT - Foundation in Arts (Track C) OR Relevant Diploma
(5) Other IHL - Relevant Foundation/Diploma accredited by MQA

Compulsory subject:
a. (1), (2), (3) and (5) Students who do not have at least a pass in English Language (SPM/O Level/UEC) must attend TAR UMT Essential English Skills course during their first semester in the programme
b. (1), (2), (3), (4) and (5) must pass a portfolio test conducted by TAR UMT.

Note:
a) Students without a credit in SPM Bahasa Melayu are required to pass Bahasa Kebangsaan A before the award of Bachelor Degree.
b) TAR UMT Diploma will be accepted on credit transfer into Bachelor Degree programmes.
c) Equivalent qualifications/qualifications from other Institution of Higher Learning (IHL) will be considered on a case-by-case basis.
d) Subject to the Ministry of Higher Education latest requirements.
