Entry Requirement

(1) STPM - Grade C in 2 relevant subjects
(2) A Level - Grade D in 2 relevant subjects
(3) UEC - Grade B in 5 relevant subjects
(4) TAR UMT
- Foundation in Arts (Track B) AND SPM Credit/O Level Grade C/UEC Grade B in one mathematics subject# AND one relevant science subject^
- Relevant Diploma AND SPM Credit/O Level Grade C/UEC Grade B in one mathematics subject# AND one relevant science subject^
(5) Other IHL - Relevant Foundation/ Diploma accredited by MQA

Compulsory subjects:
(1), (2), (3) and (4) must include -
i) SPM Credit/ O Level Grade C/ UEC Grade B in one mathematics subject#
ii) SPM Credit/ O Level Grade C/ UEC Grade B in one relevant science subject^

(1), (2), (3), (4), (5) SPM Pass/ O Level Grade E (Pass)/ UEC Grade C in English Language

The requirements of credit in a mathematics and a relevant science subject at SPM/ O Level/ UEC can be waived should any other higher qualifications contain Mathematics and Biology/Physics/Chemistry/General Science/Applied Science subjects with an equivalent/ higher achievement.

#Grade B and above in General Mathematics conducted by TAR UMT is accepted as having fulfilled the Mathematics requirement for applicants with a pass in SPM/Grade D or Grade E (pass) in O Level/Grade C in UEC in the required Mathematics subject.

^Grade B and above in General Science conducted by TAR UMT is accepted as having fulfilled the Science requirement for applicants with a pass in SPM/Grade D or Grade E (pass) in O Level/Grade C in UEC in the required Science subject.

Note:
a) Students without a credit in SPM Bahasa Melayu are required to pass Bahasa Kebangsaan A before the award of Bachelor Degree.
b) TAR UMT Diploma will be accepted on credit transfer into Bachelor Degree programmes.
c) Equivalent qualifications/qualifications from other Institution of Higher Learning (IHL) will be considered on a case-by-case basis.
d) Subject to the Ministry of Education latest requirements.
