Entry Requirement

Master’s by Coursework
i. A bachelor’s degree in the field or related fields with a minimum CGPA of 2.50 or equivalent, as accepted by the HEP Senate; or
ii. A bachelors degree in the field or related fields or equivalent with a minimum CGPA of 2.00 and not meeting a CGPA of 2.50, can be accepted subject to rigorous internal assessment.
iii. Candidates without a qualification in the related fields or working experience in the relevant fields must undergo appropriate prerequisite courses determined by the HEP and meet the minimum CGPA based on (i) to (ii).
English proficiency in terms of IELTS 5.5 or equivalent is requirement for course commencement

• Candidates without the relevant qualifications in education must complete the courses below prior to commencing their candidature on the M.Ed. programme.
• The courses will be provided via a blended mode of study for a duration of 7 weeks.
o Philosophy of Education (MED 1013, 3 credits)
o Educational Psychology (MED 1023, 3 credits)
o Sociology of Education (MED 1033, 3 credits)
