This programme is designed to train professionals who are well-rounded in moral, intellectual, physical, aesthetic and labour development, have basic knowledge, research ability, teaching and

practical experience in dance, have strong beliefs and high professional ethics, love the cause of dance culture dissemination and education, and are able to adapt to future professional and social

Major Subjects

1. Major Subjects: Music and Dance Studies
2. Core Courses: Ballet Fundamentals, Chinese Folk Dance, Chinese Classical Dance, Modern Dance, Dance Creation, Introduction to Dance, History of Chinese Dance, History of European and American Ballet, History of European and American Modern Dance, Traditional Dance Culture in China and abroad, Dance Pedagogy, Dance Appreciation and Criticism, etc.
3. teaching practice: dance theory practice (dance works appreciation, regional cultural study and research, dance theory research), dance teaching practice, graduation internship (including graduation supply and demand demonstration) and graduation thesis, etc.
4. Social Practice: Artistic Recruiting, Public Service Performances, Volunteer Activities
