The Department of Digital Media Art in the School of Fine Arts and Design is designed to cultivate composite and application-oriented talents who can adapt to the needs of social, economic and

cultural development in the new era, face the cultural and creative industries, have strong cultural literacy, master the basic theoretical knowledge and professional practical skills of digital media

art, have an international perspective and sense of innovation, obtain systematic training in digital art creation, comprehensively apply the knowledge and skills learned to analyse and solve

problems, and be able to engage in digital media art design or teaching in new media design enterprises and institutions such as film and television advertising, animation design and game design.

Core courses: Fundamentals of Computer Technology, Fundamentals of Communication Technology, Digital Signal Processing Technology, Computer Networks, Digital Image Processing, Web Design, Multimedia Information Processing and Transmission, Streaming Media Technology, Principles of Animation and Online Game Design, Video Special Effects and Non-Linear Editing, Virtual Reality, Introduction to Art and Design, Design Aesthetics, etc.
