The Department of Agriculture was founded in 1936 and has grown up together with Fujian University of Agriculture and Forestry. Fujian Agriculture and Forestry University is a key provincial

Agriculture and Rural Affairs, the State Forestry and Grassland Bureau and the Fujian Provincial Government, and a university under the construction of a first-class university in Fujian Province.
The major of Agronomy is the foundation of agriculture and the backbone of crop science, and it is one of the brand majors with the longest history in Fujian Agriculture and Forestry University. With

talents. The Faculty of Agriculture of Fujian Agriculture and Forestry University, on which the major is based, started to recruit undergraduates in 1936 and postgraduates in 1962, and was one of the
first units in China to be granted the right to confer master's degrees and the first units in Fujian Province to be granted the right to confer doctoral degrees. It has a complete system of training
