The Department of Digital Media Technology is oriented towards the current rapid development of media applications, aiming to cultivate applied talents with solid foundation, able to adapt to the

development needs of digital media technology, with good professionalism, systematically mastering the basic theory and skills of digital media technology, digital film and television technology,

network multimedia communication technology, game education software technology, and with the ability to innovate.

In 2016, the major was selected as one of the university's "pilot majors in innovation and entrepreneurship education reform" and "high-quality resource sharing course" provincial construction

echelon projects; in 2020, the major was awarded the university's new engineering research and reform practice project construction project.
