Specialty

The main objective is to recruit master's degree students in mechanical design, manufacturing and automation, mechanical and electronic engineering, mechanical design and theory, vehicle engineering,
automotive service engineering, measurement and control technology and instrumentation, engineering mechanics, materials forming and control engineering, new energy materials and devices and other
related majors.

Course Syllabus

Major Subjects
(1) Key Technologies for New Energy Vehicles and Special Vehicles
With the research and engineering of key technologies of new energy vehicles and special vehicles, the School conducts research on key technologies and integration of new energy vehicle power systems, drive systems, control systems and new materials, relying on the key disciplines of mechanical engineering in Fujian Province, the Provincial Cooperative Innovation Centre for Bus and Special Vehicle Research and Development, the Institute of Advanced Bus Design and Manufacturing, and other research platforms. The university also has a provincial-level innovation base and demonstration base for postgraduate training of professional degrees.

(2) Intelligent Vehicles and Advanced Safety Technology
With the research and engineering of automobile safety and intelligent control technology as its speciality, the department carries out research and engineering of key technologies such as in-depth analysis of traffic accidents, modelling of driving behaviour and cognition, target vision differentiation, active safety system evaluation and decision making, intelligent vehicle control technology, driverless vehicle system, body structure and human injury protection system integration, etc., relying on the provincial-level collaborative centre and the provincial-level platform of the Institute of New Energy Vehicle and Safety Technology. The platform is based on the provincial synergy centre and the provincial level of the Institute of New Energy Vehicle and Safety Technology, and joint research on key technologies is carried out with a number of well-known enterprises inside and outside the province.

(3) Micro-nano and Precision Manufacturing Technology
The research and application of micro-nano and precision manufacturing technologies will be featured, including micro-nano manufacturing technologies based on electro-hydraulic dynamics, micro-fluidic control technologies for electronic packaging, precision processing technologies for micro-structured functional devices and surface weaving, transmission design and methods for scale and performance constraints and functional requirements, theories and methods for the creation of complex conjugate surfaces, and theories and methods for the design of high-speed rotor system support damping systems. The School has also developed a number of postgraduate training bases in collaboration with enterprises. Postgraduate training bases have been jointly established with many enterprises. A key laboratory of Fujian University for precision drive and transmission has been established.

(4) Key Technologies and Applications of High-End Equipment for Intelligent Manufacturing
The research features include the integration and application of industrial robots, smart factory integration, green manufacturing, laser plate welding, multi-axis CNC machining and other technologies and equipment, and joint research on key technologies and postgraduate training with a number of large enterprises in Fujian Province. It has a science and technology innovation team in Fujian Province and a key laboratory of high-end equipment for intelligent manufacturing in Xiamen.
