Specialty

The school is geared towards the industrial design and modern handicraft design industries, training students with vocational skills in industrial design and modern handicraft design and production,

capable of working in related industries in design and production and other vocational positions, cultivating highly skilled talents with strong practical skills, innovative spirit, professionalism

and humanistic qualities. The school has already built workshops on cultural creation, pottery, paper-cutting, cloth and calligraphy, and is now building workshops on leather carving, metal, fibre,

batik, weaving and paper-making. The department has a team of full-time and part-time teachers who are integrated with industry and education.

Major Subjects

Chinese painting, three major compositions, introduction to art and design, history of ceramic art, decorative sculpture, design of daily ceramics, ceramic decoration (overglaze/underglaze/new colour), drawing design, computer-aided design, pottery art, 3DMAX, etc.
