The Arts and Crafts Design major was developed from the Decorative Arts Design major, and focuses on training senior professionals who inherit traditional craft techniques and have the ability to
create innovative designs to design and produce arts and crafts. Through the studio project system, we focus on cultivating students' professional design skills, enabling them to master the basic
knowledge of arts and crafts while mastering the craft techniques of arts and crafts design and production, understanding different types of craft materials and their characteristics, and being able
to use suitable craft techniques to produce arts and crafts that meet the needs of customers. Students will be trained to adapt to the working environment, working steps and working methods of
relevant enterprises, to adapt to the management of enterprises, to shorten the distance between students and their future jobs, to be able to undertake design and production work in arts and crafts
artworks and related industries, and to lay a good foundation for sustainable career development.
