Fujian Agriculture and Forestry University officially established the undergraduate major of Labour and Social Security in 2005, which is one of the earliest universities in the province to establish

similar majors and is the construction point of first-class undergraduate majors in Fujian Province. There are 10 full-time teachers, among which, 60% are with senior titles, 80% are doctors and 60%

are master's degree supervisors. The teaching and research team has undertaken 17 National Social Science Foundation projects, National Natural Science Foundation projects and ministry project topics.

Foundation courses in disciplines such as labour economics, social security, management and demography, as well as social insurance, social assistance and social welfare, labour and social security law, social work, human resource development and management, risk management, smart ageing and fun ageing classroom, digital health management, big data and statistical analysis, etc.
