Introduction

Established in 1988. Increasing in 1998. Renamed in 2011. Upgraded in 2013.
Oneworld Hanxin College was founded in 1988, making it the oldest and the only communication college in Malaysia. The college has diploma programmes, along with 2+2 twinning programmes. To meet the needs of people who wish to continue their education, the college offers the lowest pay of education fees.

Our college offers a diverse range of programmes, including Broadcasting, Media Studies, Cross-Border E-Commerce, Strategic Marketing, Human Resources, Entrepreneurship, Event Management, Graphic and Multimedia Design, Information Systems - Artificial Intelligence, Music and Business Management, Performing Arts, Barista , Pastry & Bakery, and Aesthetics and Beauty Management.

To cultivate a global perspective and equip students with up-to-date skills, the college is committed to establishing cooperative relationships with international academic institutions. We take pride in having established sister school relationships with over 15 institutions in Taiwan and China.

We awarded scholarship to students with outstanding academic achievements in SPM/UEC/STPM.

Requirement

Full Scholarship (100% tuition waiver)
- SPM with 8As and above
- UEC with 5-10 aggregate points for any 5 subjects
- STPM/A Level with 3As and above

Half Scholarship (50% tuition waiver)
- SPM with 6As - 7As;
- UEC with 11-15 aggregate points for any 5 subjects
- STPM/A Level with 2As

Oneworld Hanxin JinBodhi Bursary

Benefit

Bodhi Meditation Charity Foundation has set up JinBodhi Bursary for the purpose of providing financial aid to help underprivileged students to further their higher education.

Requirement

- Malaysian citizens aged 18 to 23 years old (based on his/her year of birth);
- From underprivileged family with good academic performance;
- Possessed the certificate and examination result of STPM/SPM/Unified Examination Certificate (UEC);
- For Existing student must obtain GPA and CGPA 2.75 or above;
- Not accept any other educational financial aids except for Perbadanan Tabung Pendidikan Tinggi Nasional (PTPTN).

Perbadanan Tabung Pendidikan Tinggi Nasional (PTPTN)

Benefit

The National Higher Education Fund Corporation (PTPTN) was established under the National Higher Education Fund Act 1997 (Act 566). PTPTN started operations on 1 November 1997 at Kuala Lumpur and serves to provide students with affordable education loans, giving them peace of mind to pursue their aspirations.

Requirement

1. Malaysian citizens;
2. Not exceeding 45 years of age on date of application;
3. The remaining period of study upon application must exceed one year;
4. Have no other sponsor;
5. Result requirement:
- SPM passed in Bahasa Melayu and Sejarah,with grade C in any subjects (include English)
- UEC passed with grade B in any subjects (include English)

Sinchew Daily Education Fund

Benefit

Offering a total scholarship value of exceeding RM103,000.00 being scholarships for deserving students duly selected by SCMCB. Applicants who meet the eligibility criteria and financial needs will be awarded 50%-100% tuition waiver.

Lim Keng Hun Study Grant

Benefit

In order to encourage more students to pursue their dreams and to inject new blood into the local Chinese communication industry, the honorary former principle and founder of the collage, Mr Lim Keng Hun, has set up a scholarship to help the students with outstanding performance, achievements and in financial needs to complete their studies.

Requirement

- Current students with scanty periods;
- Must achieve GPA 2.0 and above in last semester;
- Not PTPTN loan holder;
- Not Other Scholarship holder.

Apply

- Open for application on 11st week every semester;
- Fully funded tuition fee and Miscellaneous fee of ONE SEMESTER for FIVE successful applicants;
- Demonstrate financial need;
- Recipients must serve at least 50 hours of college service per semester.
